How we quote
Pricing and quotes
There's no price list, and we don't guess a price on the first call. Here's what makes a project cost more or less, how your quote is built step by step, and how you pay.
In short
PhonedTech has no price list, because no two projects are the same: a booking page and a system linked to several other tools are very different jobs. We quote each project on its own. After a free 30-minute call and a short look at your needs, you get a written plan and a clear quote before any work starts.
What makes a project cost more or less
Two systems that look alike can be very different amounts of work. These are the things we look at:
Screens and features
How many screens your system has and what each one needs to do. A simple form and a screen with payments or reports are different amounts of work.
Connections to other systems
Linking to the tools you already use, like your invoicing service, your online store or WhatsApp. Each connection is its own piece of work, and some systems are easier to connect to than others.
Design
Whether a clean, simple look is enough, or you need a design made for your brand, with clickable sample screens to try before anything is built.
Content and information
The texts, pictures and information your system starts with, like your product or customer list, and how much of it has to be moved over from spreadsheets or an old system.
AI
Whether the system uses AI, and for what. AI companies also charge for each use, a bit like a phone bill, and you see those costs separately.
Hosting and support
Where the system runs (in an account in your company's name), and how much looking after it needs once it's live. Support after launch is optional.
How your quote is built, step by step
No building starts before you approve the plan and the price. After that, here's how the project goes, step by step.
- Step1
A free 30-minute call
You tell us how your business works today and what slows you down. We listen, ask questions and suggest options in plain words.
- Step2
A short written summary
Within about a week we send you a short summary of what we suggest. It's yours to keep, even if you don't hire us.
- Step3
A written plan
We get to know your business and write down what will be built, in what order and how it will work, clearly enough that any developer could pick it up later.
1–2 weeks - Step4
A clear quote before any work starts
With the plan you get a clear quote in writing. Nothing is built until you approve it. A small, clearly defined job can have one fixed price.
- Step5
You pay in stages
Most projects are paid in two-week rounds. Before each round you get a written list of what will be done, so you always know what you're paying for.
- Step6
If something changes
Ideas change once you see the system working, and that's normal. If something new comes up that isn't in the plan, we tell you before we work on it, so you don't get surprise invoices.
Ways to work with us
We offer all of these. Which one fits depends on you and on the project, so we suggest one after the free call.
Fixed-price project
For a clearly defined job, agreed in full and in writing before any work starts.
Monthly retainer
Ongoing work every month: improvements, updates and looking after your system.

Are there hidden costs?
No. You get a clear quote in writing before any work starts, and if something new comes up that isn't in the plan, we tell you before we work on it. Some running costs go to other companies, like the cloud account your system runs on or an AI company's charge for each use. You see those separately.
What's included after launch?
We stay with you through the first weeks after launch. After that, support is optional: we can keep your system running, up to date and safe, and keep improving it, with response times agreed in writing if you need them. Or your own team takes over, using the written notes we leave you.
Can we start small?
Yes, and we often recommend it. Start with the one problem that costs you the most time, see it working, and add more later. A small, focused first version can take about four weeks, and a small, clearly defined job can have one fixed price.
Who owns the code?
You do, from day one. The code, the accounts and your web address are in your company's name. If you ever want to move on, everything is already yours.
Which way of working is right for us?
It depends on you and on the project, so we suggest one after the free call. A clearly defined job can have one fixed price, ongoing work suits a monthly retainer, and if you need engineers on your product week after week, a dedicated team.
