Cookies Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-05. This Cookies Policy explains what cookies and similar storage technologies we use on phonedtech.com, what they do, and how you can control them.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website you visit. It allows the site to remember information about your visit — for example, your language preference or whether you have agreed to non-essential cookies. Some technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage) work in similar ways and are covered by this policy.

Cookie categories

We group cookies into four categories. Necessary cookies are always active because the site cannot function without them. The other three categories require your explicit consent — see the cookie banner or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

Necessary cookies (always active)

pt_locale — stores your language preference (en or he). Lifetime: 1 year. Provider: Phoned-Tech.

pt_consent — records your cookie-consent choices. Lifetime: 1 year. Provider: Phoned-Tech.

phoned_tech_session — your visit session. Lifetime: until browser close. Provider: Phoned-Tech.

XSRF-TOKEN — protects against cross-site request forgery on form submissions. Lifetime: until browser close. Provider: Phoned-Tech.

Functional cookies (require consent)

Functional cookies remember choices you make to give you a better experience — for example, your accessibility preferences if you choose to sync them across devices in the future. We currently do not set any functional cookies; this category is reserved for future use.

Analytics cookies (require consent)

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We currently do not set any analytics cookies. If we add an analytics provider in the future (e.g., Plausible, Fathom, or Google Analytics) we will list the specific cookies and their lifetimes here, and they will only be set after you give consent.

Marketing cookies (require consent)

Marketing cookies help us reach the right audience with relevant Phoned-Tech content. We currently do not set any marketing cookies. If we add advertising or retargeting in the future we will list the specific cookies and their lifetimes here, and they will only be set after you give consent.

Third-party cookies

We currently do not allow any third-party cookies on the site. The only external resources we load (Google Fonts) do not set cookies on our domain.

Phoned-Tech administrators logging into the /admin area cause Filament to set cookies for the admin session. Those cookies do not affect public visitors.

How to manage cookies

On Phoned-Tech: click "Cookie settings" in the footer to open the consent panel and change any of your choices at any time.

In your browser: most browsers let you block, delete, or limit cookies through their settings. Blocking necessary cookies will likely break parts of the site (e.g., language preference will not persist).

Useful links: chrome cookie settings, safari cookie settings, firefox cookie settings, edge cookie settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookies Policy when we add or remove cookies, change providers, or in response to legal updates. The date at the top reflects the last update.
